Katie lives with my mother along with Taz and is her personal pet. We selected Katie as our pick for her pigmentation, angulation and her her outstanding front and flawless movement. Katie is a powerful, muscular girl and is an enthusiastic puller in harness. She is also very expressive and sensitive to our emotions. Her only character flaw is that she is the worst escape artist our family has ever owned, Chinook or Siberian Husky, and we're not quite sure where that came from. Unfortunately, this may lead to Katie re-joining my family permanently for her safety if installing an invisible fence in my parent's wooded lot is impossible. She is a sweet, loving dog and has a nice rich red coat.
Katie was an outcross for genetic diversity with a lower coefficient of inbreeding than either parent.
