Quest has excellent conformation and very correct breed type.  He is a confident, out-going male from the breeding program of Joann Blackman of Crossing Creek Chinooks out of a lovely female bred by Donna Canfield of Cloudburst Chinooks. 

Quest represents a wonderful success story being one of 3 fourth generation new purebred males bred by Joann to be awarded UKC purebred status by the Chinook Owners Association and United Kennel Club.  All 3 of these males exhibit historic Chinook breed type and have achieved GR CH titles through impressive show wins.  Quest was issued a UKC permanent registration certificate on 10/21/03 and earned his Champion title on 11/8/03.  Under the guidance of his breeder and help of volunteer handlers who generously assisted her in showing him, Quest achieved the distinction of  #7 UKC Conformation Chinook for the year 2004 and finished is Grand Championship title on 6/17/2005.  After several years out of the show ring, Quest made a strong comeback in 2007 after joining our family.  He zoomed up to #4 Chinook in the nation after only 6 months of showing, always competing against several other Top 10 conformation Chinooks.  He's a wonderful dog and an asset to our breeding program.
